What’s your job title? Sr. Solution Architect
How many years have you been with Nth? Almost 5 years!
What does a typical day for you at Nth look like? Varies day by day. Solving customer problems with different solutions that sometimes are outside the box, but ultimately deliver the desired technical and business results.
Which fellow Nth’er(s) inspire you and why? All Nth-er’s have their own story and add value to the vision of Nth to deliver excellence for our customers. It takes many hands to make a load lighter, and not all fingers of our hands are the same.
What led you to this career/working at Nth? I was referred here by two former co-workers.
What’s one of your favorite things about your job? Solving problems for customers.
What is a work accomplishment you are proud of? All customer solutions have value. Designing the implementation of the solution, end-to-end.
What motivates you at work? Quality work. You have only one reputation. Customer satisfaction. Better ROI (return on investment) and lower TCO (total cost of ownership).
What are some of the biggest lessons you’ve learned in your career? Measure twice, cut once. Leverage peer review. It is ok to ask for help.
What was your first job? Busboy / dishwasher at Sizzler was my first official job but before that, I mowed lawns.
What is the best career advice you’ve received? Pay your dues, day in and day out.
Anything not on this list that you would like to share? Food when made and shared fills the stomach and soul.
What is your favorite place that you’ve travelled to? Europe – Italy and France.
What is your favorite movie and/or book? Pulp Fiction and Cinema Paradiso (tie) are my favorite movies, and I have too many favorite books to list.
