What’s your job title? Sr. Networking Consultant
How many years have you been with Nth? 3 years, 10 months
What does a typical day for you at Nth look like? Customer calls, customer visits, and consulting on various networking technologies and manufacturers, i.e. switching, routing, wireless, cellular, firewalls, network access control (NAC), etc. Some vendors I work with include Aruba, Cisco, Meraki, Extreme, Ruckus, Cradlepoint, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
What is one of your favorite things about your job? I enjoy visiting the offices of interesting companies, such as a rocket launch company in Long Beach. I toured the ship where rockets are stored and then sent to sea to be launched from a floating platform.
What motivates you at work? It has always been to support my kids.
What is one of the biggest lessons you’ve learned in your career? Never stop learning and never give up.
What was your first job? Motorhome washer
Describe your ideal weekend. Boating on a lake or river, or camping in the desert and riding dirt bikes with my kids.
What was your first concert? First cassette tape? First CD? My first concert was Billy Idol, and my first 8-track tape was Queen.
