Presentation Abstract
Energy efficiency has become a mantra for the new millenium. Now there are exciting programs from the State of California and local utilities that pay California businesses large cash incentives to save on energy. Guy Hansen from San Diego Gas & Electric will describe two such programs that enterprise datacenters can leverage to qualify for large cash payments. Guy's message dovetails with Matt Weiner's presentation describing the energy savings and other benefits generated by professionally managed IT Consolidation & Server Virtualization projects.
Speaker Biography
Guy Hansen has over 10 years experience in Demand Side Management, including third party oversight of lighting, mechanical, energy management controls and IT energy efficiency projects. As a Construction Manager for Sempra Energy Solutions, Guy completed six, $2+ million dollar efficiency projects across the country. As a Senior Program Manager for San Diego Gas & Electric, Guy has qualified thousands of energy efficiency projects with well over $30 million in California Public Utility incentive dollars.
