Speaker Biography
The holder of eight patents for inventions in the area of Fibre Channel technology, Stuart Berman joined Emulex in 2003 and serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Officer. He came to Emulex as a result of the company's acquisition of Vixel Corporation where he served as Chief Technology Officer. Stuart was named to the list of Top 25 CTOs for 2005 by InfoWorld Media Group for his exceptional innovation & leadership. He has been instrumental in creating technology roadmaps that have yielded strategic opportunities and provided Emulex with an enduring competitive advantage.

Mr. Berman holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of California, Los Angeles and a bachelor's degree with honors from the University of California, San Diego.
