
Speaker Biography:
Richard Baldwin began his career in the technology industry in 1968 programming business applications for IBM System 360 mainframe computers. After working for San Diego Trust and Savings Bank's IT department, he spent 14 years building UserWare where he ran a computer service bureau and a time-sharing service and developed a relational database software development tool called USER-11 and USER-BASE. After selling his interest in the company in the late 1980's, he started and successfully managed three companies, including Nth Generation Computing, founded in 1990. Nth developed a focus on StorageWorks in the early 1990's and has become the leading HP enterprise storage solution specialist in the Western United States, winning HP's Storage Partner of the Year award for the Western US in 2002.

Rich's company, Nth Generation, provides best-of-breed storage and backup solutions and offers advanced technical training for clients through Nth University and a full range of storage lifecycle services through the Nth Professional Services division.
