Remote monitoring software gathers data – page counts and service alerts – from your print devices and securely transmits the data to Nth Generation/Printelligent. Dispatchers analyze the data to determine if service calls are needed. In addition, collected data feeds Management Reports (see below).
Supplies & Services
Technicians provide service ranging from simple toner cartridge replacement to major repairs—all delivered at the time of need, and often, as soon as two hours after notification. Printer maintenance tasks are conducted at proper intervals, including printer cleanings. Inventory management chores are eliminated for your staff and printer uptime is maximized.
A managed print consultant prepares and analyzes a standard set of reports and reviews the information with your IT Manager. These reports show printing trends, an overview of printer utilization, and identify problematic or missing devices. Recommendations are given for print device relocation, consolidation or replacement based on the information in the reports.
Copiers and printers at end-of-life are replaced with print devices that fulfill the greatest print needs of the department or business. Special consideration is given to purchasing lower-cost and better-fit devices and in replacing single function devices (printers, copiers, scanners and fax machines) with multifunction printers.
HP (on behalf of Nth Generation) delivers managed print services at a per-page cost. All services are outlined in a single invoice, tailored to your budgeting requirements. Your invoice can reflect print volumes grouped by department or cost center. This practice helps establish printing budgets and keeps you informed of the exact costs of printing.
